Campaign art direction for Google's music platform that offers listeners curated radio selections based on their mood, time or place.
My role was to concept, lead and art direct the full campaign and its implementation – from ideation and sketches, through to re-touching and campaign roll-out.
The campaign's concept merged everyday objects into surreal pairings to represent each radio station – differentiating Google within the heavily-saturated streaming landscape. Colors selected from Google's Material Design palette flood each background, creating an instantly identifiable visual cue to the brand.
With themes spanning from ‘Ultimate Girls’ Night Out’ to ’80’s Training Montage’, these images became the hero of the multi-platform campaign across both digital and print, including placements in Rolling Stone and Billboard Magazine.
I had the honor of working with dream-team photographer Andrew B. Myers, and prop stylist Sonia Rentsch, who helped bring my quick pencil sketches to life.
