Brand identity re-design for Home Studios – a boutique design studio for interiors, furniture and lighting of hospitality spaces.
Defined by exploration, invention and an accute attention to detail, Home seeks out the abstract and unexpected. Informed from this experimental spirit, the identity is rooted in a series of idiosyncratic moments. Curved crevasses and exaggerated, bulbous forms create the logotype – referencing the arched forms and hidden details that are characteristic of Home's own spaces.
Propelling the identity into a simultaneously restrained, yet unconventional vernacular, a supporting type system is overlayed as an interactive detail that plays off the work's multi-layered nature and continual search for innovation.
